Mumbai to Houston

I realised that I didn't carry a pen on me to fill in the immigration form. An American I guess had just finished filling his form. I requested to use his pen. He gave me though was wondering how he would get it back. I assured him I would go and give him as soon as I finish. When I finished and went to the counter I couldn't find him. After immigration I went around looking for him but he couldn't be found. I felt bad that I couldn't return his pen but that pen proved useful for the rest of the journey!

The Emirates flight to Houston was a long one - all of 18 hours! After 2 hours to Dubai, I had a halt of 8 hours at Dubai between 12 AM to 8 AM UAE time! Roamed around the duty free shops a bit, hung around McD working on my laptop till the juice ran out, availed of my complimentary breakfast of Fish and Chips with coke at Oceans Basket, walked around a bit exploring the airport, settled in for 15 mins for 40 winks and then I ran out of 8 hours!

The Emirates flight was such a pleasure. The first leg I met a air hostess Paulina who took a pic of me and gave me an instant print. She also happily took a selfie with me. The leg room was good. The in-flight entertainment was excellent and managed to watch a few movies.
